Web OPAC:-
    Our VHNSN College Library is providing Web OPAC to the users. It is an online system that provides users access the library book catalogue and allows users to search for resources availability from any internet connected device .


Library Cards:-
    Two cards are given to UG students and three cards to PG and M.Phil students for lending books. Students are allowed to keep 2 books for 10 days. The staff members and research scholars are allowed to keep 15 books for a period of one Month.


Library Automation:-
     Our Library is automated to facilitate book lending and easy location of books. OPAC is an Online Public Access Catalogue which is made available in our library and it acts as a guide to locate the books.


Question Bank
    Question Banks are readily available in our library in both print and electronic forms.


Reprographic Service
    Our Library is offering xerox facility for all the staff members, M.Phil and Ph.D Scholars free.


Reference Service
   1.E-Document Delivery Service
    Our library delivers e-documents on request which is downloaded through Inter Library loan from other libraries (DELNET Inter Library Loan).
   2.Ready Reference Desk
    This service offers the hard and soft collection of Newspapers’ Special columns like TNPSC model questions, Know your English, Science & Technology news and employment opportunities etc., for knowledge update.


Library Orientation Programme
     Orientation Programme has been conducted for new Undergraduate students in the opening day and for new Postgraduate studentsduring the third week of the academic year. The main aim of an event is to introduce the library resources, facilities and services.


Earn While you Learn Scheme
    This scheme had been introduced in the year 2007-08 in our college. At present, two students are serving in book keeping activities and institutional repository scanning works during morning and evening hours with wages. This scheme enables the poor students to earn and to spend on their basic needs.


Audio Library
    1.Nearly 1500 Audio books are available in our library
    2.Nearly 69 audio cds are acquired for visually impaired students. The cds are helpful for competitive exam preparations and self development.
    3. Braille Collection


Book Review Competition :-
    Our college library has been organising book review competition for the three times in a year to inculcate the book reading habit.


Current Affairs Quiz :-
    Our college library is regularly conducting Current Affairs Quiz (Written) to the students. This practice enhances the students to update their knowledge regarding various local and global issues & recent happenings.
